How to Do a Sound Bath at Home

Want to try a meditative, de-stressing sound bath, but don’t know where to start? The host of our Sir Explore sound bath experience in Amsterdam, Stacey Griffin, shared her tips with us so you can do it yourself at home.

STACEY'S TIPS:

1. Pick a virtual sound bath (@endoftime.live or @shiftmeditation are good places to start).

2. Create a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted. Turn off your phone notifications.

3. Lay on a yoga mat, bed or couch—wherever you will be most comfortable lying down. I also recommend a blanket.

4. Dim the lights and light a candle if you’d like.

5. I highly recommend putting on your headphones in order to get the most out of the experience.

6. Close your eyes or cover them with an eye mask. You don’t need to watch the screen.

7. Let go and listen to the sounds as they wash over you.
