At Sir Devonshire Hotel, we are fully committed to preventing Modern Slavery and Child Sexual Exploitation across all areas of our operations and supply chains. We adopt zero tolerance approach to slavery, servitude, forced labour, human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children, recognising our responsibility to protect vulnerable individuals and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

This statement reflects our commitments under:

Our Commitments

  1. Zero tolerance of Exploitation
  • We do not tolerate forced labour, servitude, human trafficking or child sexual exploitation in any form.
  • Everyone connected to Sircle Collection; employees, contractors, guests and suppliers must be treated with dignity, respect and safety.
  1. Protecting Children and Vulnerable People
  • We actively work to recognise and prevent child sexual exploitation (CSE) in our operations.
  • All team members receive training to identify warning signs of exploitation, both physical an online, including grooming, coercion and trafficking,
  1. Collaboration with Operation Makesafe
  • We partner with the City of London Police to support Operation Makesafe, a safeguarding initiative that trains businesses like ours to identify and respond to signs of CSE.
  • We display awareness materials within our premises, provide specialist training for customer facing team members, and maintain direct communication channels with law enforcement.
  1. Supply Chain and Partner Standards
  • All suppliers and contractors must comply with modern slavery and safeguarding legislation, provide written assurance of compliance, and undergo risk assessments and audits where appropriate.
  • We will terminate relationships with any partner found to be involved in or turning a blind eye to exploitation.
